Libbey Blumberg

I'm proud to say I began my dance career at the Boulder Creek recreational center at the tender age 11 years old. After finishing high school I received a scholarship for Steps on Broadway in New York where I fine tuned and developed my deep love for ballet, modern, and jazz dance. After returning to Santa Cruz California and completing an AA in dramatic arts. I then moved LA where I received another scholarship from the Edge Studio in Los Angeles. LA remained my home base for 10 years as I toured the world living and working as a professional dancer. Performing with various artists, starring in MTV music videos, TV commercials and movies. I'm most proud that my professional dance career helped me tour the world as a dancer and an artist. I Believe you were never too old or too young to dance. I consider myself both a teacher and a lifelong student and to this day have aspirations to study new forms of dance that I have yet to dabble in, such as belly-dancing... Words cannot express how excited I am to be back dancing and teaching in the original dance studio space that I spent so many happy years dancing my heart out, and with that said I hope to see you on the dance floor!
